Nestled amongst pine trees in the heart of the Scottish Highlands sits Strathmashie House, a Victorian shooting lodge visited by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in the summer of 1847; the grounds of which are now home to Strathmashie Distillery, makers of Daffy's gin. Daffys is a premium quality, 'slow cook' distilled London Dry gin made in small batches, and the unique distillation process creates Daffy’s incredible smoothness, depth of flavour and finesse. The unique ingredient is lebanese mint along with other botanicals that include juniper, coriander, angelica root, lemon peel, cassia bark orris root and orange peel. Wonderful fresh notes on the nose and palate, this is a refreshing, complex, well-balanced and vibrant gin. And who's that bombshell on the bottle, you may ask?... The striking artwork is actually a depiction of Distiller’s wife painted by the famous artist Robert McGinnis (Breakfast at Tiffany’s and James Bond artwork).
