Why 47, you ask?... That's the hefty number of botanicals that go into this gin. Yes, really! It's also the alcohol content of this quirky tipple, which hails all the way from the Black Forest in Germany. The unique and seriously complex taste of Monkey 47 is made up of botanicals that include cardamom, cloves, six types of pepper, two types of hibiscus, nutmeg, almond, ginger, lemon balm, sage, blackberries, sloes, lingonberries, juniper and the 'piece de resistance' locally-sourced cranberries. It's an ideal basis for both classical and more eccentric cocktails, or served simply with a generous splash of tonic.
Tasting note from our Gin & Juice Expert"A curious gin from the Black Forest in Germany. Juniper forward with a crisp citrus note & a hint of peppery spices."
